I honestly had no plans of playing again unless race wars were reintroduced, but I would keep coming here hoping against hope that BPG would see the error of their ways. I’ve lost all hope at this point. Goodbye everyone. I honestly think at this point the game should have just been left for dead. It would have stung less that way. this will probably get deleted. Don’t know why I am bothering. I am not coming back now no matter what happens. BPG, please fix this crap for anyone who is left. all 10 of them.
Very little posts are removed or deleted from the forums. The only time where we ask people to be constructive and stay on topic is development threads posted specifically for the reason of gathering targeted feedback.
BPG moderated a Development thread that they wanted actual feedback on, instead of allowing it to become the usual toxic retard fest that these threads always become, 'OH NO THE SKY IS FALLING!!!' If folks like the OP actually wanted their voice to be heard, they would understand that, instead of reacting like a petulant child that has been disciplined. And since people seem to forget, Forumfall had moderation as well. The idea that people were able to post whatever they want, whenever they wanted, is simply incorrect. You're gone? Ok bud. Just go. No need for a goodbye thread. Those of us that want the game to succeed will stick it out

Not true. People in that thread myself included were explaining the root of the problem and offering solid advice/ solutions/ a wakeup call to BPG. It was absolutely on topic and did not break the ToS, but got deleted anyway. Clearly BPG have no interest in ever actually righting the ship and saving this game if they are going to not just ignore, but delete the posts telling them what the actual fundamental problems (and solutions) are. It's sad because even now, even with limited AF BPG, there is such untapped potential for Darkfall I'd love nothing more than to throw my wallet at BPG and pour some hours into RoA, but that will never happen if they refuse to acknowledge reality and the fundamental problems

What's the thread in question? We've eased up heavily on our moderation, since the end of summer last year specifically. That said if things start getting out of hand and the noise overtakes discussion we'll try to remove the noise. In official threads we're a little stricter to try to keep the topic relevant to the discussion at hand. If there's a case where you feel we've overstepped by all means bring it to my attention in a PM. Negative feedback is fine and we welcome it, but if you keep shouting the same couple of phrases in every thread or wrap feedback in offensive content it will likely be ignored or removed if it crosses the line.
