Now that Dyes are out (YAY) I feel like there is some lost potential with the implementation of the drop rates. Basically the way it stands now, with the 80% drop rate per wave + the ridiculous crog drop rates, dyes are a very rare drop, many times not even worth farming / buying. The reason this is a lost opportunity for player content is simple: If dyes were way more common than they are, players would create their own content. Here are some examples of stuff players could do if they didn't have to spend so much time gathering dye materials rather than using them: * Pink VCP capping gang. * Blue vs red sieges * The green guerrilla in the woods. * Clan events. Right now you need over 8 individual materials to craft dyes. With the current drop rates, I don't see the content above ever being a reality. Rather than having dyes be just another market item on demand, have it be part of our content.
Agreed brother. I spent two no life days farming mats for premium, not exotic, dyes, and I can't even dye 5-6 full sets like I wanted to. Seems illogical to create such a grind for something and claim it's a time sink content-wise
