Embers of War Rise of Agon’s first expansion Times have changed. The way we fight, the way we go to war. The way we bleed and die on Agon’s cold soil. Clans rise, born of their own paths to glory – some protect, some cut down. Some seek riches, some seek bloodshed. But for all of these glory hounds, there exists one defining factor that they express all too easily – their love of battle. The harmony between the Mercians, Mirdain, Orks, Dwarves, Alfar and Mahirim could only last so long before splinter groups found reason to leap into conflict once more. And what better way to do so than to show their mettle and construct new and powerful structures of war and weaponry to add to the arsenal of destruction that follows these clans? For all that Agon is, and all it shall ever be; we will never know peace. The bloodshed will continue, and as dark figures loom in the horizon, a great evil approaches. All of Agon must ask itself… Is it prepared? Introduction Embers of War will include expanded clan warfare with a host of new territory control mechanics and buildings with new player owned structures both economic and military in design, this will be an expansion on the original v1.0 Territory Control currently in development. Dynamic housing will bring player made villages and remote hideaways, new customizations and house add-ons. A revamped GUI, bindings and an improved new player experience, tied with a free-to-play business model, will bring fresh meat into the fray! Brand new specialisations, armors and ancient items will allow you to define your unique playstyle in a fleshed out combat diversity expansion. With the war the denizens of Agon sense coming, many have begun started to gather their strength and kin together and a great migration of many monsters is underway! Resources and many high level monsters will be regionalized into specific zones, giving each area many unique resources and value. Outline of New Features Territory Control 2.0 Regional towers will allow clans to claim areas of the map and expand their territory with new customizable outposts, allowing the control of many aspects such runebook and recalling abilities and the taxation of portals and chaos Purchase a variety of new items and structures in a new NPC/building in your clan capital with new resources earned from new structures to drive your clan’s war efforts of domination! New political map to show off a clan's prowess New alliance mechanics to link clans together as a single entity with its own leadership structure Improved clan management tools to make leading a clan more enjoyable including better bank management, communication and customizable member permissions Clan Leaderboard to show off your clan’s rankings in the world Regionalization Continents will contain dozens of unique resources from enchanting materials to rare ore, leather, cloth and wood that cannot be found elsewhere in the world Many high end mobs will be regionalized to specific continents giving the ability to control markets to those clans powerful enough to dominate whole areas of the map Every region will contain rare materials in varying types, inter-regional trade or raids will be necessary to build all the strongest weapons, armours, staves and bows Limitations on recalling with specific materials will cause raiders and defenders to meet, protecting ones lands or hauling spoils to safety.
