The fact is, it's a niche game so you will always fight the same people. Small community = same names. This isn't always a bad thing, there's rivalries, and your name carries weight. And people won't be everywhere always, there's half the map where it's terrible spawns in terms of efficiency, nobody is going to be camping kobolds after their first week, it's just not worth the time. If you need leather, there's higher tiered mobs which are harder, but more rewarding. That's just the fact of the game, as such hotspots. High tiered mobs that pay off the best. Same thing happened in other popular mmo's, there's a valuable spawn which draws people to it, and pvp breaks out because of people contesting it.
The guy lives on Yssam and kills newb gatherers around Caxtla. He roamed Yssam for 4 hours and complains there isnt enough pvp for him.
they nerfed every single mob into the dirt so now there is nothing to farm so there is no one in the world. They should of buffed all the shit mobs up so there would literally be people at every spawn farming instead they fucked their whole game. Well played
Truth is people are mad when they get "zerged", they are mad when they dont find anyone. I have seen a person complain that he got killed by 3, same person complains all the time the game is dead. I have seens people calling my group a zerg when we are 6 and they are 5. The same people complained when we didnt have someone in our town when they jumped in. People will complain and be mad and threaten to quit over every shit in the game. There is actually still people playing this game, if its not enough for you do something about it instead of complaining.
DF1 was like dating a girl you really were into. Then, for a whole lot of reasons you didn't quite understand, she broke up with you. So instead of letting her go, you waited outside her new boyfriend's house and in a fit of pure rage murdered them both.
