Event: The 2nd Rise of Agon Battle Royale

What is it: A free-for-all fight to the death. Players will begin the event with no gear or items of any kind. Naked, they will rush the designated area looking for weapons, armor, reagents, and so on. The longer you survive and the more players you kill, the better your gear bag will become. Last player standing wins.

When: Sunday, April 15th at 3:00pm EST.

Where: Players will meet in Espenhal. I recommend arriving at 2:30. A Nexus to the waiting area and Runestone to the battle area will be provided. More details below.

How to Watch: The event will be live streamed on Twitch.

    1. Arrive at Espenhal for ~2:30pm EST. Do not attack anyone in the area.
    2. Remove all items from inventory (GM's will be verifying).
    3. Take the provided Nexus Entrance to the waiting area.
    4. You may quickly relog after porting through. Once you're back in game, /rest with your character, and wait.
    5. The Nexus will be destroyed at 3:01pm EST sharp.
    6. All characters will be resting at the waiting area in a line. Please don't be running/jumping around.
    7. GM's will check each character's inventory to ensure no one has items.
    8. Runestones will be traded to each player.
    9. Keep Public chat open. On the 3rd Mana Missile, you may start your Runestone. Anyone starting early will be knocked back and be forced to teleport late. Anyone causing chaos or knocking people back will be banned from all future events and given a temp game ban.
    10. The Battle Royale officially starts when you load in. Run around, look for items, and fight! Good luck.

Prize: The winner will get 100 Nithron Coins, the "HELP ME!" cry, and the choice between two unique titles: "the Commando" or "the Soldier of Fortune".

    Rules (MUST READ):
    1. Follow given directions (have Public chat open).
    2. Attend the event completely naked (in-game, IRL is optional).
    3. No casting Heal Other or Buff Other spells. Saying you "accidentally casted it" won't play well, so if you have to you can remove them from your hotbar.
    4. Participants cannot leave the designated area.
    5. Once dead, you must not return to the designated area. Doing so will result in a ban from future events.
    6. No logging out and logging back in. This rule applies even if a player experiences the FPS bug. We will not pause the event to allow people to relog.
    7. You must not be in a Party unless instructed otherwise. This is a solo event.
    8. Once the majority of the players are killed, active players must accept a party invite from a GM in order to see where the other participants are.
    9. No blatant teaming. Multiple invisible GM's will be flying around ensuring rules are being followed. If you are found to be blatantly teaming with another player, you will be removed from the event and banned from future ones as well. Fights with 3 or more players can happen, and as a result one player may get focused over another. We'll be able to tell if it's done out of necessity (perhaps that player is more skilled or has better gear), or if it's players going out of their way to help each other. Don't do it, it's simply not worth it.
*Consult this thread before the event as more rules may be added*

    • More available loot. Including R50 weapons.
    • Less waiting & minimal streamed travel time.
    • Event is on a weekend, and at a better time for EU players.
    • Battle area will be much smaller and partially contained. Easier to track players, and the event won't be as drawn out.
    • Transfers no longer require regs, which is an event improvement on it's own.
    • Stream will have background music
    • I will be focusing much less on running the event and more on running the stream
    • The stream will definitely not cut before the winner is revealed.

    See you there.
