People and BPG argued that content wasn't and shouldn't be a priority... and now the population is falling off because of..... CONTENT hahahahhaaha told you so. The game needs daily fucking content to survive and shit to fight for daily. Villages are just a place for people to camp and hope someone comes. Sea towers are still lackluster 90% of the time, having it be last hit is dumb AF. I could go on and on but whats the point
Pvp needs to be more accessible, not just revolving around timers. Perhaps it shouldn't only be tied to hot spots, either, maybe there needs to be places to go to just pvp for the sake of pvp.
Can I just say the selentine golems have brought more pvp in two days than I've seen in 2 months? (granted I don't hang around Cairn) but still... Great move and I'm having lots of fun!
Yea that's fine, but lets be honest it will die out, and turn into the same shit the yssam spot turned into. If they added on to the eastern side near orc lands as well I could see all places being a really good competitive hot spot. You need something that has high risk/ high reward and medicum scale PvP For daily content for all the lesser/mid tier players to roam about and participate in the world. that's what this game honestly needs. --- Post updated --- oh really, you just have the inside scoop on the numbers. please tell us how you're so plugged in to make this statement.
they removed the main everyday time sink content of the game (character development) and didnt replace it with anything. what you are left with is nothing.
Well obviously I don't know the exact numbers, but I have heard far more complaining over their failed patches than their content, thing about how many issues they have introduced with every patch. In a game like Darkfall the more people the more content there is. Would bet you anything if there wasn't so many performance issues with the game there would be far more people. Also you do realize you are making a claim without having the inside scoop on numbers to, we are both just speculation dumb arse.
Don't worry they removed a ton of features like Funhulks so they could add them back in as content updates
Literally every single person during beta said content was a priority. And BPG has said many times they plan for monthly content patches like AC had.
oh really, you just have the inside scoop on the numbers. please tell us how you're so plugg Butt hurt much man? there was numerous threads made about the worry of lack of content and there were many people saying content and advertising shouldn't be a priority lol. I'm sorry you're a massive idiot and cant read but It happened.
You realize that you are in the same boat as me and just speculating to why there is a lack of population so you just repeat your statement?
There are two completely different view going on here, one is that of vets who have done everything 10 times over and want something fresh, the other view is that of new players who never stuck around long enough to use up what content DF has and if the later group stuck around longer the prior group wouldn't care so much. More content might keep vets, but population is what will really keep them and the way to keep population is not content, but accessability for newer players.
Pretty much this. Most of he new players have left the game it's a chain reaction and now some vets are leaving. So what happened that new players didn't want to stick around... hmmm..
i truly wonder at posts like this, where do you live ingame? i can barely walk a tile outside my holding without running into a group of players
