Especially things like daggers, helmets, chest pieces... Otherwise people will farm in the shittiest stuff they can get away with and still PvP with low dura items.
Seems ok to me and may help the economy but all the elite vets that like to try hard in duels are having a fit ingame about how fast dura is going down. Kinda funny to see lol.
Please dont give in to the gear hoarders. Half the Dur on all items so they are actually destroyed. Dont let me farm PvE for 6-10 hours in a set of FP. These kids crying just dont want to farm the Game. If you listen to them they will only be happy with no dur loss on items. They are cancer to the survival of this game. LOWER ALL DUR!
How soon is this next patch? Because people don't even want to log in to duel right now because it just blows all their hard earned gear up... and they don't really want to duel in r40s so....
It's not cancerous to want gear worth having. In the current state loot is going to be half broken shit and who wants to go fight when you know the stuff you loot will be near broken anyway. Go PvE with a pair of daggers and tell me you want the dura halved.
I told them in chaos chat where I saw players and they made excuses. They said they only wanted to pvp the best players and yet they were all chatting in chaos chat and not meeting up to fight each other lol.

Reworking it is all well and good, but currently it isn't worth crafting gear because it's trash durability, and it isn't worth pulling out already crafted gear because it breaks incredibly fast. Can we get maintenance and trueforge back until the full rework is ready? Currently a long fight can use 15%+ of the durability on a staff. For the amount of time it takes to get a good staff and enchant it...that's the opposite of reducing tedium.

Yup, back to waiting for the next patch. Literally no reason to log in if you're done grinding and farming prepatch gear is pointless. Thankfully they work pretty fast for a small team. --- Post updated --- Lowering dura lowers the value of gear. No one wants to costantly be farming if they choose to wear good gear and are literally farming to replace the gear they're destroying, or be forced to farm in robes. If anything this change makes the game MORE like CSGO. Put in some thought before your next rant.
Yesterday's patch is the first in a series that are focused on our pivotal changes. The next patch, which we plan to have ready in the next 1-2 weeks, will focus on character stats, reducing the disparity in gear (which includes changes to durability), allowing crafting out in the world and introducing crafting queues.

You expect people to stick around and keep playing 1-2 weeks not using any enchants or enchanted gear? Or anything higher than r40 haha (my dream but whatever...) While that is fast for a follow up patch (1-2 weeks).... This is more a 'hot fix' kind of thing.
Hot fix dura tell you get the patch done dont half ass things like this. People wont log in because they dont want to farm new gear every fight.
