If you are a new player, save all of your enchanting mats. If you decided to keep playing, you will want them for yourself, at least the low level ones. Don't ever give away enchant mats thinking "i'm not a crafter" Or "I won't level enchanting", because at some point, if you keep playing, you will want to get up to at least probably Q3 enchanting just to be able to enchant basic stuff for yourself. Another small tip for new and old players, and warning against marketplace miscreants fleecing you, Catalysts (Nith, Numen, Ichor) vendor for 60 gold each. Speaking of enchanting tips, for any enchanters in training: Instead of having to deal with this shit every enchant: https://gyazo.com/b3167db9eaa6ddfcaf00c453666a11ea If you stack your enchants / catalysts up in neat piles, then open / close your inventory / or the bag that your enchants are in, it'll save their location for the next batch of enchants. https://gyazo.com/63a1d56574425129698e51c5fd4625f8 One last tip: By alt-dragging the pile of weapons / armor / etc. and saving them in a specific location, you can then alt-drag them again away from that location after you've "saved" your inventory setup, so that enchanted items will fall into the saved location, and unenchanted items will stay put in the new location. Im about to start leveling enchanting. It was the only craft that I took time to get skilled up in Darkfall 1. I cant see Jmans picture on imgur or the actual forum. Anyways, before I start this grind, is it possible to just do the same enchant on the same weap over and over? I cant remember. Also, how long will it take just to get to Q3?
No, once an enchant slot is used you cannot overwrite the enchant, and you cannot have multiples of the same type on an item (You can't keen a keened weapon even on a different slot, for example). You'd need a bunch of weapons, but they can be as low as a rank 0.
