What is Justice? We are friendly family-oriented players who don't start trouble with anyone unless we're given a reason to. We are politically neutral and our only enemies are those who do us wrong or grief others without cause. A quick preface: We know the main draw of Darkfall is pvp. That said, enemies will make themselves. Those are the people we seek out to pvp against if pvp is your goal. What does this mean? - We don't live by the "if it moves, kill it" law of the land. We choose to be different. You should never be worried if you see Justice riding by or approaching a spawn with you. We don't just kill for fun or out of boredom. If you don't start trouble with us, we don't have trouble with you. The only exception is if you're a known griefer who terrorizes noobs and blues for no reason. If that's you, you may not be on our good side. - If you come across someone at a spawn and they're at low health and vulnerable with a pack full of good loot, heal them up. We aren't here to take advantage of anyone and hopefully people can pay us the same respect in the future. Again, we don't kill anyone who hasn't done anything wrong. - We try to be respectful in game, on the forums, and on voice chat. Obviously there are some hard-headed people sometimes and it requires a little emphasis to get a point across but generally we try to keep it civil. We're the good guys.
Tied as in it was his idea to form this newb guild and tied as in no one else wants to lead it it was supposed to be a group effort not just one guy doing it. that kinda tied
Tied as in I believe there are members that wish to remain in the clan and i'm not the type of person to abandon the responsibility lightly. Aside from my IRL issues i'd continue to be supporting them any way I can.
Was not trying to sound like a dick laki i know you got internet issues but it just made some of your dudes wonder wtf seing things like this
Ah I see, I was merely suggesting I promote this kind of playstyle and without other responsibilities I'd probably be interested in joining. Not that I was going to as is in any case. ---- I apologize this conversation took place in this thread and will understand if they are deleted.
So wes furtive tried to attack me in my hamlet today (he ended up running), and when I asked him why he told me that Drow was a pvp oriented clan so we were "free game" for justice. This seems to contradict your whole mission statement, nearly every clan in the game is pvp oriented and kills on sight. Drow doesn't "terrorize/grief new players/blues for no reason" so idk how you justify it. If you attack any clan that is pvp oriented (every clan in the game) what exactly makes you different from any other clan? You can't really call yourselves the good guys if you do the same thing everyone else does.
You fail to mention Drow has attacked me. There are different levels to this. Some clans become our enemies who we actively set out to find. Some clans become fair game. You fall into that category both individually and your clan. I didn't go out of my way to actively hunt and seek you out, I just happened to be at espenhal and thought I'd just check Bloodscar. Good chase from Bloodscar to Hintenfau though, the three of you guys (Narcis Sist, Slogg Dobbr, and Jake Tyler) almost managed to kill my only bluetail. Was fun.
If a clan or person attacks us once. We have no rules whatsoever that stop us from attacking them at any time from that point on. That does not mean they are considered enemies but we do not have to wait for the other person to initiate every attack, they have already drawn first blood.
@Knar Narcis Sist also killed this guy at a craft station and the guy didn't even know the clan he was in was at war with anyone. Seems like griefing and unnecessary killing to me. Can't get behind town killing noobs just cause they're "yellow"
You have my sword if you should ever need it. Your mission and philosophy is similar to ours, but you're taking it to another level which is unique and interesting. If I wasn't already running a clan I would join yours.
Don't know that I would call that griefing, If he declared war just for the sake of killing in npc towns then ya, but anyone should be well aware there are no safe spots in this game and it can be quite brutal. That being said anyone that goes to the forums to complain about being killed needs to get over it.
I like it, if you hold true to the statement you will have a pretty big following. Especially with newer players that have gotten a taste of the dark side of Darkfall. If for some reason I leave the clan I'm in I'll be sure to contact Justice.
I don't really play the beta that much anymore but this is definitely intriguing to me. It's a way of thinking I've always been partial to myself across all pvp games I've played.
