What's the reason there is a timer? And why is it random? People value their time now a days, not sure why we have to sit there for 5 to 10 more minutes to turn in another key... Is it for so you are in danger lol?
It's to make players stay longer at the chest, increasing chances of pvp, especially other players turning in keys. If you could turn hundreds of keys in in seconds it would take away from the danger of those areas. Dungeons are my favorite, I've been in fights where a lot of leenspar keys were on the line and it's fun. One time I had a nice 2v2 when we decided to bring 50 veilron keys each lol.
OK fair enough, I just don't turn them in due to said timer. Rarely, and I mean like 1 time in the past 2 years have I ever found someone in a dungeon that wasn't Lawful or Capital, and I think that was due to a camped alt.
I find turning in keys fun because if you go often enough, and at the right places, it's a great way to get pvp and generally one side gets wiped. Ideally, dungeons will get more love in the future
Can you explain the reason only 3 people can turn in keys? We had a group of 5 and two couldn't turn in... Sad face
The timer is dumb because it’s random. I understand that the higher the chest the more time it takes but there is a global timer where like he said only 3 people at a time can turn in and some guys have to wait 10 mins while others only wait 6 mins to re-turn in a key.
I thought it was no longer supposed to be race dependent based on the origional old race allied mechanics, but that may have been your issue. Or it may not have been. Does anyone really know? M ~
Global timer should be removed. I remember doing niffl dng with 6, 7 or even 8, I don't really remember, people and handling in theyril keys later. All but 1 could open the chest. The last one had to wait... sad times. Personal timer should stay for the reasons Billy Lee mentioned rarlier.
