Definitely looks like you got some right-click / hotkey ahk-script going? That block speed is nuts. No way that would work with 120 ping.
Nah, parry scripts were useful in UW, but they don't allow you to effectively jump-kite in RoA. Also, I don't use right click for parry, I use F for s/s and good ole' V for parry. Also, this looks faster because I'm using daggers. This method is only viable with daggers, because the animations are too long with any other weapon to consistently switch before the attack lands. You could use other weapons, but it'd come down to luck on whether or not the golem attacks you in between your swings. Also, keep in mind that the number of hours I've practiced my weapon switching is embarrassingly high. You don't need to be shaving milliseconds off your timings for this to work, just don't hold down left click when you dagger. Click for each attack, but only after you don't see the golem start his attack animation. Even if the golem starts an attack animation after you click, as long as you don't have another attacked queued up, you'll have 200-400ms to switch and parry. (This all assumes you have 75+ knife skill and 75+ quickness. In my case, I had 105 quickness buffed and 79 knife skill as of this video)
What makes it so weird is that you have no weapon swapping animation. Whenever I swap from like daggers to 1h / shield there is a hickup in the animation that makes it trigger 1 ½ animation of the swapping. I haven't tried to parry straight away to see how that works. Technically you can parry almost immediately after you switch, but if you spam the key, you'll get inventory operation failures that'll reset your switch timer. You've gotta hit the key only once. Shaving time between the two key presses is the hard part.
I used daggers for pve in DF1, but heard in chat 1h sword was as good these days, anyone tested for dps, leaving aside a mobs paticular vulnerability ?
I have GS mastery, working on knive mastery now My plan was to go 1handed clubs next, that way i also have a bludgeoning damagetype
For players who aren't leveling daggers then you can also just use a one handed weapon. I do this with my one handed sword pretty easly and it doesn't take much longer to kill though I prefer to just kill them mounted on a horse or battlehorn instead of on foot.
that swap speed+[arry is fucking retarded, definately can't do that with 90+ping, but theres better ways to kill em thankfully
i wish i could do this lol, 90 ping and i cant even block the stomp, does the damage before the animation XD. Also wtf at how fast u can block after switching to snb :'(.
I have 60-80 ping and I'm lucky if I can block with the weapons I have out and actually have it register - this swapping stuff crazy Hacks
