    Lol ya man keep increasing costs funny it cost more to port to a dark desgon thsn I get for soloing it.

    Loot is in a good place as far as scarcity goes, all they need now is a bank wipe. Dupes, mob scaling, and villages just onflated peoples banks.

    They should why wouldnt you wipe after all these dupes, they certianly didnt get items out of the economy. Typical darkfall fuck the giys who didnt knoe about the ezploits and makr it even hsrder for them to catchup lmfao, the solo viability in df gets worse and fucking worse every patch.

    this would be nice, but i was looking into running around on PTS and found it easy enough to install the PTS client the other day (though a bit difficult to find the download link)

    hit up neilk cause my creds werent working when I tried to login, he explained the db is not in sync

    I'm all for more gold sinks, less faucets, gear cycling out faster, better risk vs reward ratios for top tier gear, and making pvp less of a zero sum by making a couple pieces of the gear worn when ganked break entirely so that the losing side can inflict SOME damage and the winning people have to farm more to complete the sets they looted....


    But at this point none of that or anything else is going to save the game without a wipe.

    It's called being a zero sum game


    This is why in games like EvE when you kill someone some of the loot they had equipped is destroyed completely and unlootable.


    Ganking in Darkfall needs a rake


    No one should be able to get basically EVERYTHING they need off another player in straight up head to head pvp like a lot of us did (catching someone farming or at a village is different).


    You have to set the economy up in a way that EVERYONE has to go out and farm indefinitely if you want a healthy economy and frequent dynamic openworld pvp to occur.


    You cannot fix it without a wipe though because if you tried it would ONLY doubly punish new players and people who did not have stacked banks before the changess



    Not of this should of been a surprise after the exact same shit happened twice in 2009 Darkfall and then again in UW.


    We made threads warning BPG in Q1 2016 not to launch without the economy right and to error on the side of things being too hard to acquire rather than too easy, they didn't listen

    LBS have you played RoA at all? Have you played recently? I am serious and not trolling. I find myself in agreement with you more times than not, but I did not think you even played so I am curious.

    I keep trying to reserve judgement on RoA because I know the game is not done-done, even though it had an Official launch almost 2yrs ago. Knowing that though, typing that out, personally makes logging in alot harder some days.

    Someone had a great attitude in comms last night, 'just play for what the game currently is.' I knew that. I know that. Thanks for the reminder whichever one of you said it. <3<3

    Yes to more gold sinks. No, I have no suggestions atm, I was up to 4am enjoying RoA so I have brain mush.

    I am not a fan of gold sinks that inhibit your ability to get to the 'action stuff'. So gear bags, enchanting, porting are all things I am not in favor of increasing the cost of.

    What I want is actual sandbox content that pulls gold out. In depth house customization that cost a shit load. Blank fucking canvases that cost gold that I can paint whatever on and then sell it to be used as painting in a house, a clan icon, or whatever purpose. Armor dyes are a good opportunity to add another gold sink as it doesn't increase the base cost to make a viable gear bag, just the base cost to look good.

    The ability to publish hand made propaganda or advertisement posters that get put up in npc and player cities for gold.
    Ability to rent space for gold in npc cities for player made statues showing feats of strength, propaganda or large genitalia.
    Ability to use gold to customize ship and mount appearances.
    Ability to use gold to customize clan city/hamlet appearances.
