How did that work out for DFO and UW?
Haven't looked in to them in a while, Still going strong?
DFO was abandoned to make UW which was an attempt to appeal to the masses. Yeah how did that go?
for some reason there is a vocal minority that either forgot, or they liked UW
I liked UW, it started out pretty fun and had potential. Again... Aventurine.
Man let's see what game is around in a year, after all dfo died before UW, time will tell if history will repeat itself again again again.……
You can play the game the way you want now. 90% of the builds you try will not be viable, but you can play the game they way you want still.
Yea, you can play however you want, but if you don't play as a bone with 3 metal fillers wearing, ray spamming, fire knocking, great sword using mage, you might as well turn your main into a gathering alt, or give up. Please, don't bother reminding me that GA power attack is sick and the other day you saw a noob with a great club.
Personally, I don't want any hard lock classes. I like the idea they seem to have started on new specialized gear (new staves) and encumberance. As we have realized by now, that the new staves have proved largely unimpressive, (i've only personally tested the lifebolt vs. bkackbolt) so, blackbolt, like GS, for all of DF's lifetime, is once again the only real choice for everyday, well rounded play.
I just hope they can make some changes to armor/weps to create some real diversity to build/theory crafting, with more than 1, maybe 2, viable play styles before it is too late, again.
And why don't we just give them catch up mechanics instead of going into a rock paper scissor never ending spiral of ass?
