Making Polearms A Viable Primary Again

    No because if devs increase speed of polearms all the players use it....but for me they can increase the dmg and maybe add mana drain....

    I doubt everyone will stop using greatswords.

    I remember when pole speed was 2.0....90 % of the players use magic/polearms

    Somehow I think you're making that number up. The truth right now is that polearms are under used. They need a buff.

    I stopped useing PA when I realized that the swing speed effects the whirlwind cool down. Much better to use a faster weapon for your secondary whirlwind.

    Is there any reason not to take a Greatsword in pvp? I feel totally gimped using polearm. It's way too slow. I can swing at someone and they move in and out of my arc before the damn attack is supposed to land.

    If 0.2 speed makes them op, then give them an even bigger reach/damage/stronger power attack/some sort of buff. Should be a viable, if niche option, as opposed to no one using them.

    There are speed .40 and .30, but no .20. It's just skips straight to .10 because of a nerf that happened years ago.

    Aren't the R80 polearms crafted by alfar's .2 speed?

    This argument from changing speed of polearms from 0.1 to 0.2 is silly.

    Why not test at 0.11 or 0.12 even *gasp* 0.15. Just enough speed to make it viable but not enough to make it meta of the month. We have a decimal system for tiny tweaks just need to do small sdjustments to find a sweet spot (On test server first). Making all weapons viable and not having just one meta allows player choice in the game and uses in game assets effectivley.
