    Could the 1.0 cap on staves be removed? Allowing the enchanted corpsecall to go beyond 1.0 would open up a cool playstyle.

    slow staves sucks right now, make all same speed and tweak damage and costs

    Or give it -20 encumbrance or +1 spell level, with level 6 changing some spells (example: toxic rain changed to poison damage).
