If you post names, please state your reasoning. Thank you! List of names: 1. Itwas Luck 2. Arkillion Asura 3. Shuyin Hail 4. KyKy 5. Ninogan 6. Val Roth 7. Magnetic Man 8. Turd Burglar 9. Ginger Magician For me I would say Itwas Luck was one of the most over hyped names in the game. My reasoning is due to his exploit use, and the fact that in pure skill vs skill fights his strength mostly came from his tactical retreating rather than pure aim skill. However, he was a good player overall, better than average and had some really good videos but the hype level I feel was over the top.
Not a troll post, half serious and half for entertainment to see who others thought were over hyped. I really felt the hype level of Luck was outrageous, compared to the reality. He is definitely in the top tier of players but due to the exploiting I feel there should be an asterisk next to his name like any player who took drug enhancements in professional sports. Can you really argue with that point? If you do then you're just a fan boy, and not looking at the situation realistically.
but the exploit that you mentioned here wasn't even real. --- Post updated --- Either way this is a pretty toxic post.
Arkillion Asura, absolute madman. How many accounts did he end up having? Not quite sure if he was over hyped by the rest of the player base, but he himself loved to hype up how good he was and how trash everyone else was.
I think your mother was probably the most over hyped player, she had the character, gear etc but not enough tactical knowledge of the game to make correct decisions in a team-fight.
Awesomefusion which had really bad aim due to insanely high sens so he could think he was good at stickybacking. LOL JK your pretty good brosef ^_^
xD im shit now tho i always kept my sens on default and played with like an 800 dpi mouse, worked good for DF
That SeƱor Noobstriker character everyone though he was the best player on Na but he wasn't just the best wolf , but def not best player on Na
I will try to reproduce the exploit, I have seen the bug happen in-game personally but never intentionally created it or tried to reproduce it. I believe it has to do with messing with resolution sizes. Between the in-game resolution setting, OS settings and Nvidia resolution settings, you can trick the game into thinking the resolution size is smaller than what it really is. When the blind overlay is triggered, it will think the game resolution is smaller than the actual resolution size, producing a smaller blind overlay. The other possibility is that I was trolled really hard, but I believe there is truth to this not only because I have seen the bug personally in game, but the person who told me about it I believe was being truthful as well.
Google has heard about it...at least in some shit game that I've never played but looks like darkfall Go to 3:50 https://forums.darkfallonline.com/s...atch-2nd-Update-with-combat-patch-notes/page9 Good old dolphin rider explaining how to do it: axilmar, you need to create a custom non-standard resolution (a resolution that doesn't conform to your monitor's supported aspect ratios -- should be any ratio other than 4:3, 16:9, or 16:10 if you're unsure) via your graphics card's control panel (should be easy with nvidia or AMD; not too sure about how to do it with a locked onboard GPU). if done correctly, this can cause some regular resolution options to disappear &, in their places, your custom resolutions will be shown instead. launch your game with a non-standard resolution in borderless windowed mode (with your desktop resolution being the same as your non-standard in-game resolution), then set your desktop to a standard resolution & set the game to a standard fullscreen resolution once you're in. you should notice that some UI elements will be stuck in the top-left corner of your screen instead of being repositioned correctly. one of those elements will be the "blind" panel; any blinds will be one pixel (or a small square, at largest) at the corner of your screen. let me know if you run into any issues making any resolutions or if you have trouble reproducing the resolution options "overflow". if your custom resolutions aren't being recognized by darkfall for some reason, create custom "standard" resolutions (using non-standard aspect ratios) using this utility: http://www.monitortests.com/forum/Th...ity-CRU?page=1
hmm I have news for you.. On topic though - anyone who made a lot of vids e.g. luck and pure were overhyped and many unaware people thought they were 'the best' and untouchable at times whereas in reality there were a few on the same playing field.
oh hi you found one of my videos where i accidentally recreated a super easy bug thanks for the free advertisement
well apparently you looked at one and watched at least 3 minutes and 50 seconds of it to see whether or not it was in it soooo... in UW the bug was easy as fuck, go windowed mode in a low resolution then go fullscreen in a higher resolution. even if you unintentionally did this to do something else (say you only have one monitor) then you'll get the bug until you restart or play on the resolution it's bugged at. from what i've heard DFO's bug is related to settings in the nvidia control panel and isn't visible in videos. not exactly the same thing but i guess its similar?
