He was a good solo guy but in a group he would flop lol He would rage so hard when he would get focused and dropped in seconds because he over extended.

Didn't he roll with mostly average / noob players? I remember him being very good at resetting fights in 1v1, no wonder Luck had issues with him.

In conclusion, some people who were beasts at the game will end up being bad this time around and some nobodies or people you wouldn't expect will end up being beasts this time around.

I remember me duke Wellington and Dim Mok won a wager 3v3 against magnetic man and friends. Theres a video of it somewhere. Dim could hold his own very well at range, just fell short against melee pushing style players. I made fun of him alot but after meeting him and his clan i realized that he was just in a clan of idiots. I remember talking him into kicking like 70 percent of his clan that were either very bad or wouldnt cooperate with anyone.

I remember that 3v3, it was a good fight but I don't think I was bad in melee. I feel that I was good at both melee and range but I always tried to force melee if I could because it was the quickest way to slam dunk someone. My problem with melee was that sometimes if I was losing the melee exchange I was stubborn and would try to stick it out when I should be resetting and going back in.

As for the state of the clan when you came in, this was towards the end of Darkfall when we were at our weakest point, we didn't have the same group of people we had been working with in previous times. We essentially had a pickup group that was going against the newly formed vet zerg that migrated into NME and yet we still managed to survive. So it was a mutual understanding, no one needed to convince me about kicking all the pickups, the SB leadership was worn out after three years of constant sieging and server wars.

I honestly can't remember a single name of a person I trade ganked. virtually none of them even said a word to me afterward. Only person I recall by name, was trade ganking Umberto for 4 ships I cant remember what type. immediately after i stole them, I made an alt and had him middleman a 5 million G house. thinking man if he only knew this was me...

I had a couple videos of luck clearly seeing through blinds. But ppl flock to protect other ppls dicks when they get called out even with proof. CS 1.6 had stuff like this where flashbangs wouldnt blind your screen and it would adjust gamma so you could see dark areas better. I'm glad to see some more technical proof of it used in darkfall tho. I mean for me and ppl I played with it was basically just known that he used the resolution/gamma thing to not get blinded.

Solid player besides the exploit stuff but def overated considering he needed to use stuff like this. Ill also always remember when magnetic man beat him 1v1 and then nexox naked alfar dagger ganked him and ran off with his dragon bag :tearsofjoy:

I'm pretty sure you have to go in a really small fullscreen mode, then change to the largest Windowed Mode that's usable. Then you'll have the blind only be the size of the original full screen mode. Something like that, but you def have to play in Windowed mode for it to work.

Anytime a bug that provides an advantage is found out by the community, like the /drink macro to mask bow sounds and parry, a significant amount of competitive players will use it. If you really think there was a bug which almost completely eliminated blinds, and it was as easy to use as you're describing (changing your fucking gamma), then I guarantee you a majority of the community would not only know of it's existence, but they would choose to use it to. Unlike many other exploits that gave an advantage, the exploit you're proposing exists would be unnoticeable by players you're fighting too.

so, essentially, you think an exploit exists which is undetectable, provides a HUGE advantage, and is easy to use, yet only me and maybe a small amount of other players actually used it? you fucking autist lol.

I think it only worked on confusion. If it was related to graphics card settings it could even be a specific version of the software for a certain brand of card. I doubt it was easy as changing gamma, and was probably discovered by chance, or by a complete try hard.

How many games have had dupes that only a few people know how to replicate? Far too many for me be concerned about being lumped together with autists.

A small number of people figured out all kinds of advantageous shit and managed to keep it secret for a long time even from the majority of their own clan

I think it's entirely possible that Luck had a way to see through blinds at some point in the game.

I dono what to say except I disagree with your logic of 'if there is a way to exploit, everyone would do it obviously". Pretty weird thing to say actually, most people never even consider cheating/exploiting and don't even look into it, it just doesn't cross their mind. Only a tiny % of people actually have the moral disposition and/or basic desire to cheat in games, not 'the vast majority' as you claim. Maybe you're apart of an echo chamber of like minded people so you think its normal?

Why not refute it like an adult- 'no i never cheated, i just used good headphones' instead of fuckboi logic loops?
