nice dude I don't usually like or watch intro vids but u had some pvp in here so it was good. spend less time using movement spells while your still new and more time doing melee trades / ect. you will learn much faster let the vets do the complicated shit.
Pretty cool - but the game isn't ready for steam release. Even with the tutorial - if I had absolutely no idea what Darkfall was, I wouldn't make it past the first five minutes. It needs its own tutorial island which gives a glimpse of what RoA is - I really liked the way UW had the dragon in the start.
can u vomit into a bagless bin with holes in it again for me on stream oh great Tankkiller Thornhill? edit: only the OG's that waited thru every minute for the DFUW launch will remember this
PLEASE stop trying to push it. We all want this game to succeed but its not ANYWHERE close to a steam release.
That video was really well put together! I agree with most on here, the game isn't ready for steam just yet (only get one shot at steam release). That being said, it would be awesome to have more video's like this to get new players excited about playing DF while providing some backstory to what the game has been through.
Regardless of what my opinion may be. the purpose of this video was not to push the developers into a steam release. it was to build hype and spark the curiosity of people who may not have heard of DF. and also to praise the developers for their hard work and good design decisions especially after learning what little tools and documentation the founding developers gave them.
no fucking way are we anywhere close to steam release, that would be final nail in coffin if they released right now. Game needs serious new player experience revamping
