Node respawn a little too long (mainly iron)

    The faster harvesting and reduced amount is great, but the respawn is a bit too long - it was balanced around more per node so didn't really scale properly with the changes.

    I'm not sure what it should be dropped down to, but when I cover an entire quadrant of the main continent and come back with about 200 ore something is off - and that is at great risk.

    This would be OK if the node respawn was faster but I ran into lots of nodes in total BFE that were emptied, and of course I left behind lots of 3 hour empties for anyone else too.

    I'd probably up the ore per node a little bit and cut the respawn by a little bit - maybe +10 ore per node and 2 hour respawn

    i disagree i like it. we have to travel to gather now. its not as bad as you say in my experience it will also continually get better as people spread out into player owned cities.

    Nah man, you had two variables change in a way to scale but one variable remained the same

    The result is people wiping the entire map to feed their crafters and it's just a bit much

    Nodes give less, but take less time to harvest

    But node count remains the same and respawn remains the same

    You see?

    I would really like to see some kind of indicator to let me know when the node was going to be available ... I really feel this is the missing piece to the puzzle right now it would definitely create more PVP

    I'm sure there was thousands of resource nodes that were never emptied in the whole lifetime of Darkfall that are now actually being emptied. I don't think resource node count needs to be increased. The only bad thing is the new player experience is difficult with no nodes to harvest in the noob areas.

    Which is the most important group of players!

    This needs to be addressed as it is a major problem for people not to have the resources they need to do the things they want. It is about the same time to get the same amount of ore as in dfo which is to long. Excluding nodes repoping or server reset.

    I would agree, but also by like year 2 of DFO. People had stacks of 100k Sele ore.....

    Keeping the mats like that on a longer timer just makes getting the better gear.more rare to the point when you see somebody in nice gear you want to have it.
    Aka kill them

    I haven't had the same experience. I have found plenty of nodes either within noob areas or one square out. I fill up overweight with a mount without too much trouble. I haven't even used my old honey holes yet. Also, crafting requirements for ore scaled down as well. I would say working as intended.

    I think you need to explore more. Also, if you are in human zone, just move. It is always overcrowded, the spawns there bug, and it continually gets farmed to the max.

    city nodes are terrible atm as well they start with practically nothing and fill up super slow and the server keeps crashing setting it back to nothing again.
