Thanks for postponing that patch so sieges could go through, oh wait you guys fucked that up. Fuck player created content right? Lets just randomly patch at prime time with zero warning. AV 2.0 for sure.
Love the right click changes, shoulda been in since DF1.0 day 1. Yall couldnt have done this in the morning though when it wasnt primetime eh?
Primetime with several sieges going live during and after patchtime.. Questionable at best especially when an announcement is made from a GM in game stating that it would be postponed.
It's usually a short break for patching. It's beta expect patches whenever and often. Have any of you ever played a beta before? Get used to the fact that everything we do in beta is temporary. We are in it to test and have fun while doing so. On the plus side, love the changes to party creation.
Very good point ^ It's a beta guys, just chill out and enjoy it. If they pull something like this after launch, then grab the pitchforks.
It's beta. Stop stressing about sieges. Be thankful they're doing all these nice quality of life patches.
Wicked patch, definately should have did it during/after maintenance unless you're fixing something critical XD
Sorry for the poor communication/timing but it looks like sieges were not affected. Good luck on those and enjoy the patch!
I think we are in a pretty good place when people are complaining about patching rather than no patching.. for months and months on end, eh?
i always liked ur posts, maybe since 2010, but recently u getting boring as fuck. its beta, they're patching... stfu --- Post updated --- dont take seriously
This statement is completely false. Downtime less then an hour before stones go live definitely has an impact on a siege.
The siege that was going to be affected was able to be completed normally so nothing negative happened. We still made a mistake in patching so late but in the end it all worked out fine.
I know you're getting shit about the prime time patch with a couple sieges happening, but it's beta, shit happens. Great patch guys, keep it up.
People crying over patching while you all played a game that didn't have a patch for 2 years and cried over it. The irony.
Well, no, not really. We were planning on attending both sieges but when we saw the message we said 'screw it' to Bloodscar because we thought we couldn't get there in time. If the server had stayed up we could have defended both. If by 'completed normally' you mean 'we lost Bloodscar because we couldn't even show up', then sure. Everything went fine.
