This is a bug fix/small QOL implementation patch, has nothing to do with our roadmap. That patch is scheduled for end of july/early august.
Does BPG just not get it at all.... Like what in the world are they thinking. Adding 2 more golems??? that's gonna stop people from leaving? is this a joke?
It has been one of the major complaints. They not only are adding golems but they are putting them on mainland.
Do you care about the population of the game? honest question. Because I do. But adding 2 golems is gonna do nothing to stop people from leaving. You guys really need to stop with the insults and deal with the real issues of the game. Insulting people just shows you have absolutely nothing of substance to say.
Not sure why. Defenders now go all in for one push or all in for 1.5 hours defense. Gone are the 3 hour sieges that gave people hours of entertainment. The first time surprise mercs pop up against you, you will see the negative behind this change.
New threads are made every single day. The game is not suited for people with full-time jobs. Adding 2 golems is not going to change that. BPG does not have to do everything people suggest, but they have to reduce the grind, add more classes, and add content. They can do it in whatever way they feel necessary but those are the main reasons why people are quitting and they need to address it.
What you said is in no way helpful. People asked for selentine drop changes and they patch them in, and all you have to say is *cue nasaly voice* OH REALLY BPG? DO YOU THINK THIS WILL STOP PEOPLE FROM LEAVING MEAWWW *SNIFF* It's not helpful, it's just fucking annoying for the rest of us enjoying the game. Just play the shit, if you don't like it - fucking leave, and especially don't talk shit on the people who spend their time developing this game when you don't know the first fucking thing about programming or game development.
the complaint was there wasnt enough sele ore, and the new spawns that were added before were on far out remote islands on sub continents. So they upped the ore drop rate and they added 2 mainland spawns. What is wrong with that?
Reducing the time does not change anything about "who moves first", you simply have less time to defend/attack. Sieges are boring because "siege mechanic" itself is lacking INCREDIBLY. It definitely can be a lot of wait time, but again, that is because the mechanic itself basically promotes camping. Reducing the time doesn't change that, it just reduces the amount of downtime in sieges and undoubtedly will result in a lower amount of fights. Less time = less fights. With less time, players will be more apt to do a "one and done" attempt. Sieging is definitely one of my favorite parts of Darkfall, it just needs a lot of work in my opinion, to make it a more "active" activity.
