    Hey all,

I logged on last night for the first time since June. I liked the patches with regards to battle spikes and self buffs. This is definitely a good start for the combat changes. Although, with regards to this thread title it seems ping is generally is 30 higher at all times. I know this affects the west coast negatively and most likely the EU's. Will this be addressed?

The server was moved down the road a few miles. Probably permanent for you. I gained like 11 ping when this happened. Some people lost ping as well.

@ArrowExpert unless you moved you almost live close enough to the server you could work at the data center. whats your ping now?

I’m 45 miles from Staten Island. I don’t think I should have 45 ping. In Virginia I had 20 ping to Manhattan and before in jersey I had like 12-15 now it’s 40-45. It’s not a big deal to me I was just wondering.

Thats untrue, all dwarves are chinese players. I know this because i would hunt them harvesting in DFO in dwarflands and they would just attempt to lag away to safety.

Sound's like you have a bad hop. More than likely your connection route is hopping over to like Virginia then back. This happened to me in UO. Although I was an hour from the server.. I had a hop that went to Texas and back. Unfortunately back then the internet provider would not do anything about it. You can check with your's. I also do not know if changing providers will help.

Hes getting routed to Pennsylvania then to NY, and whatever hops hes getting are shit. My ping is real dogshit now too, Im getting 60-70 when I should be/used to get 30-40. This is my tracert. Its pretty clean minus the number of hops and all of those 100ge shit hops at the end.

The routing is real shit for a lot of people in the midwest/east cost now for whatever reason. Also, your ISP won't do anything about routing. I remember at some point windows (xp/vista or maybe even 7) had a way to set static routes but it doesn't look like windows 10 has it or I can't find it.
