Shits soo annoying running with an alliance during sieges and you only see bubbles over your party.
Yeah probably the biggest thing you can do to help new players make sense of sieges.
The most impactful QoL change that UW bad imo.
Good thought, bad solution.
Tabards! Just like real armies. (kind of). You identify friend or foe by the uniform!
Actually with dyes maybe this will be possible. Clan colors.
This would be a huge awesome change for sieges and it needs to happen.
100% behind having clan colors and tabards but the fact is there needs to be a simple and consistent fix. Dyes and tabards should be implemented but they should be sand in the sandbox not a requirement for group PVP.
i agree 100%
i need to see allainces, its to big of a part of the game to not know.
And add clan waypoint ability.
Yes, would be nice to separate ally from enemy.
And the ability to right click, add waypoint to map. Maybe multiple waypoints, planetside style
EDIT:: For clan members, I would honestly rather see their name above their head like the Seatower statues in front of cities (not that big obviously) so when someone yells out "_____ needs heals" I can try to locate their name instead of hovering over each person running around
Or cloaks like in DAoC.
Something along these lines, and not a floating icon would be awesome.
Would love to see capes, but capes like this
Not like this
Omg no wtf
I figured there would be some opposition to it. I'm not married to the idea, but overhad clan symbols at least would be nice.
Inb4 stop zerging and keep track of your team mates.
EDIT::: Upon further consideration, I believe I want this in place of Party tags, not clan tags. I would agree that having floating names for everyone in your clan would be the dumb, but when in a party and someone is calling for heals, it's rather annoying to target the 3 human males wearing full bone to figure out which one of them needs heals. I understand the opposition to the idea though.
It's hilarious seeing people object to new ideas for a game that failed the last 2 iterations. It wouldn't hurt updating a 12 year old game to getting it on par with the other successful moms on the market today. It's not rocket science it's just common sense.
Player made tabards ftw. Give us a template and I bet you the ingame population will triple.
Great ideas in this thread!
Wtb floating damage numbers. I thought these were surprisingly well done in UW.
I'd like a lock target type style. Not one that aims for you but enables targets to be highlighted on screens. maybe something like a light over their head that is red for kill and green for heal. So people who want heals can hotkey a heal request and a green light goes above their heads for alliance to see and it expires when their health is over say 75%. Then the target that is tagged by the leader has a red light over his head for everyone to focus that only the tagging alliance can see that expires anytime a new person is put under focus.
This could be a meaningful use for beacon. I wouldn't want it to just be a toggle. Finally make the spell useful other than just for the lulz and fucking people in mob spawns. Some kind of an Overwatch style "I need healing" button would be "decent".
