    We've been tweaking spawns and loot tables for a few days now so might have been a bad roll. That's pretty much the worst roll possible in t6 heh...

    Keep in mind that we've buffed the rare loot side so when you get a good roll it should be pretty sweet. Going regularly to villages will net some nice loot over time. In addition they will be tied in with Territory Control which will increase their value.

    We will be redoing the loot tables entirely for villages when TC comes into play. The current rewards are a bit messy as we've built on it over several iterations as it has evolved... We've worked with it as is for now as rebuilding this file alone would take days likely it is something like 600-800 lines or something like that lol...

    @Andrew Is there a reason there are only 6 tiers? You should perhaps consider additional tiers to make the system have a more... "unique" risk vs reward.

    Yeah theres no way because certain villages still give way more rewards and those certain villages are the only villages with houses in them still capped...

    We're looking over redoing it right now, it needs a complete ground up overhaul. It will be more needed with TC but the loot for now will still be an attractor.

    Man, it's just... why was / is work being put into systems that already functioned just fine? Not to say they didn't need any work - they did and still do - but so many other things should take precedence.

    How much time was spent revamping combat, only to be reverted? How much closer to completion would the TC system be if resources weren't spent on that? What about these village changes, and the portal shard / runestone changes? Are these truly on the top of your priority list?

    I thought the community spoke pretty clearly some months ago: "Don't change combat, focus on TC." Now, 6 months later, the combat changes are being reverted, TC still isn't out, and the playerbase is the smallest it's ever been.

    I don't know what to tell you guys. This is why I cancelled my subscription. I'm so so SO proud of you guys on the team for manning up and gearing up to revert combat, but unless you capitalize on that trend and pivot towards more desired development directions, the hole RoA is in will only get deeper.

    ppl are spoiled.

    loot was so OP for so long its understandable, everyones banks are packed why work for what is usually under 5k

    loot is now very similar to df1 loot tbh, in df1 u had to waste bspikes and got like 6-10k or whatever (and ur clan officer fucked you off of half)


    I just wish they get someone with a big brain to rebalance the economy and wipe for the expansion theyre doing.

    too much duped shit in game anyway, and this game is always the most fun when u need to lvl your character, because you actually have shit to do when you log in.

    If villages aren't worth going to, people won't go to them, or fight over them. Especially now that we can only port to 1 every cluster.

    They arent worth going to because the economy is fucked.

    nothing is worth doing really everyones packed nothing to do in the game

    Do they? What Im seeing is everyone running around in infernal cobras not giving a fuck, while no one ever farms anything.

    Maybe people are irrational or dont care as much as you think.

    Perhaps the village that you can teleport to should yield higher rewards.

    I think the opposite, I think you should be able to port to all but one, but the non portable one should be 3x rewards,

    Was t4 two days ago and got a drop of gold + 1 set of chant mats and a set of 3, 2 and 1 pshards totalling 6(highest i've seen even at T6)

    Somehow their needs to be more tiers and enchants should be taken into consideration.

    The problem with villages is enchants don't matter.
    Enchant item, Double the value of an item.
    More valuable items = higher risk
    Same rewards...

    The economy would be fixed by the time EoW comes out if every time you are ganked all your gear loses half the dura that it was.

    This should be put in right away, you will get initial back lash from some but it’s the right move in the long run.

    Maybe half isn't the number but there needs to be something to purge the excess gear out of the system. If they bleed out who cares, same shit as a gank.

    Maybe 1/2 for reds / 25 percent for blues once they fix this fucked up alignment system.
