or debug seize and use that for this purpose. other solution: if you're downed then you receive a debuff for X seconds (60?) that causes you to be insta-gibbed next time you are downed. that way if you receive a rez and die shortly afterwards you are punished for having been downed already.
Idk if you remember in df1 but this principle essentially was applied to DoT’s when they got rezd. If they were at “negative” hp before the shield went off, it was insta gank. That was pretty sick. Anyway, I agree.
