How long does it take to find a non arranged open world fight involving 3-10 of yours vs 3-15 of some other group if you go looking for it? I don't particularly enjoy anything smaller (solo/duo) or prearranged and much bigger (large siege scale) What times of day are best to find pvp at that scale? What times of day or days is activity completely dead at that scale? I refuse to waste 8 hours a day looking for 1 decent fight again. How much have the China virus lockdowns increased RoA population/ activity? Do you think it will drop off again soon? What is the guild/ alliance politics like? Sieges? Anyone I know still playing or recently returned? Be honest please, it's not as simple for me to just download the game and check it out myself, I'd have to do some stuff which I don't really want to do IRL right now unless RoA is worth it atm and has a future after the lockdowns end (soon). Otherwise ill just keep waiting and do my new PC build at the end of the year when new CPU/GPU's launch and I have moved. At that time other games im interested in will be coming out so if RoA disappoints i'll at least have something else to play, unlike now. Honestly it's not hard at all...yesterday I barely played but every time I wanted to fight there was one. Ported into some village yesterday and fought over 10 Mongols and over 10 rats and we had over 10 too all in some 3 way battle. The problem is everyone is standing around the billboard to pvp. You port in with one and someone scouts of they will port in 2+ right at 600 so back up can't come. The lawful villages always have bang. earlier in the day around 1-4 is when I'm seeing the most active.ASS, mongols, rats and us all normally fight around then

Their too busy buying platinum on the market to pay for holding upkeep. Defiance is bored with fighting the whole server. Mongols are pretty active, same with Rats in the hat. Their the only EU clans atm, so probably tired of fighting each other. All the other clans are pretty irrelevant atm. You've been building your "dream" computer for years now and posting consistent garbage since ROA began. Do everyone a favour and either login yourself to find these answers, or don't. Nobody cares.
VCPs live every 30min in prime-time are frequently 4-15 vs 4-15. If you count VCP's as open-world then you won't be waiting much.
I came back recently and have played a very small amount over the past few days, dueled around a little and prob gone to like 8 or so villages and in the little experience I have had its been zerg or be zerged.
Field 15 and you will get a better understanding. This sounds to me like a post asking "what are the most valuable items to trade for on the market, and what are the quickest ways to get them, would like the info for free, but don't want anyone else to know what they are or to have to get an unfair fight to acquire them. There are fights most hours of the day, if not all, start logging in a group and you will get them at villages.

Most people I knew seem to either not be playing or they are under different names, One sided fights were always pretty common in DF, thats going to happen just by the nature of the game, but at least it sounds like you are running into people unlike late 2015 UW or certain periods near the end of DF1 when id go to multiple villages and find no one or like 1 guy in dogshit gear. Who were you playing with? And how many were u rolling out with when u went looking for these fights? Who was "zerging" you? Some people used to bang there heads against the wall by going solo or duo to a group oriented village or city and then yell "ZERG!" when they run into a group. Do anyone show up to late night EST villages too? Or do they frequently go uncontested? What are the sieges like lately?
I'm in heavy hitters and if you're not in this clan you will have PvP 24/7. Not a time of day we don't have people doing villages atm. We got wiped earlier by a huge group of mongols. Probably about 17 or so an hour ago but then never saw them again.
HHH has like chad, grimtide, nightmare an allied with like bonii and Squanto. If you want to help the community and have fun at the same time don’t associate yourself with anyone currently playing unless you plan to start your own clan. Atm no one wants to fight HHH you will get zerg by them. They port in 2 and have 15 on stand by. Or they did then people stop showing up to villages because of that. Ni fun fight a vet zerg. No one wants to fight defiance also. All the other clans give pretty good fights. You might get blob by mongols when it’s their prime time but if you have half a decent group you can have a fun fight. Basically if you want fun open world pvp the best thing to do now is to find 1-5 people and form a crew and stir up the politics.
That is true, but doesn't everyone do that? We go solo or small scale to a VCP - in ports 10 of X and we blow the horn, everyone comes. The zergers get zerged. But you know 99.9% of HHH will fight anyone straight up.
Nah its not that bad with other groups. If Sqaunto group wasn't teamed up with HHH you guys might get better fights.
Being in Mongols i can say we get pretty much all the time and still we lose 80% of the time when we do it and the other 15% we zerg and 5% is very ocasinally we win hard to hard battles, in that fight we had 20, we captured 6 villages before we went to Alhali one where we fought each other and only 1-2 people showed up even on 2 chaldean ones and 2 red ones... after that fight was already late and everyone logged off , most of our guys are GMT+2 and east europe which makes quite late for them to try to pvp.... still really fun fight, our timezones is not really ideal for an NA server sadly :/
