I've never been a person to make a pvp video due to always being the one getting killed. Since I'm usually the one dying I want to start taking videos so I can critique myself so I can get better. What software is everyone using right now to record gameplay.
As blaze said Nvidia GPU’s have a built in playback feature called instant reply/shadow play. Download GeForce Experience if you haven’t already and you can set it up there. Not sure if AMD GPUs have built in video recording software but could be worth a look. Alternatively you could use something third party like Bandicam. Bandicam is decent and I believe there’s a free version of it
I have used both shadow play and the AMD raptyr or whatever before with no issues. I think AMD has changed theirs since then tho no idea how the new one works.
I have a nvidia card but didnt know that it came with shadow play. I'll look up how to set that up and I'll look into obs. Thanks everyone.
Make sure to set it to record desktop when recording roa or else it won’t work. Desktop capture is under privacy setting.
Is Shadow play actually reliable now? Last time I tried using it it corrupted/lost my clips like 25% of the time and I rage quit back to Bandicam (which I paid the 1 time fee for) and has never scewed up or lost any of my clips) Hopefully Shadowplay is better now because it would be nice to have it recall the previous 5-15 minutes or whatever when a fight starts that you don't initially think will be vid worthy and thus don't hit manual record
