    Needs a slight nerf to protections, but I like having Destroyer ingame!

    Should we just take heavy armor out while we are at it? It should it just give us the same prots as bone but we stay gimped on the magic side of the house?

    remembering that eye rot w/ lower cd, wof w/ lower cd, hybrid players coutering it in game, mana shield, long debuffs and crap foods were in game.

    Lucks videos are him killing under developed players in shit gear. Not to mention his authenticity of playing legit. Look at that first fight....baggins could have killed those two.

    Except piercing protection used to work for arrows, daggers, and polearms.
    Mages had instant pungent with more damage and lower CD.
    Eye rot had higher dmg, lower cd, and screen shake.
    Fireball was lower CD with a debuff attached.
    Casting time/spell success staves have been replaced by magnitude/mana eff.
    Iron skin + arrow ward stack resulted in 20 dmg arrows with staff out.
    Spell haste has been removed and its bonus tied to the spells directly, resulting in destros casting faster.
    Rage protections didn't persist when swapping weapons.
    Destros didn't have access to 120 quickness unless they enchanted their weps, which means no slayers.
    WoF CD doubled.
    Wof stat cost x10ish.
    Mages actually cast marginally slower now than they did with spell haste buff.
    Debuff durations max out at 1 min and some effects greatly reduced.
    Mages no longer have mana shield.
    Destros have jump shot by default.
    Air/water magic doesn't do 40% stamina damage anymore. Normalized to 20%. (Unholy/holy lost their mana damage as well)
    Blizzard no longer casts faster than other R90s.
    Toxic rain doesn't do infliction damage anymore. (ticks for 2 on infernal, lul)
    Heavy hybrid (destro counter) is no longer even playable.
    DESTROS TAKE WAY LESS DAMAGE.

    But sure, destroyers could hit really hard sometimes.

    You missed the complete removal of weapon swaps/transitions being a big part of gameplay.

    Destro has been consistently buffed all throughout RoA and what were seeing now is the result: a truly overpowered playstyle.

    Destroyer/Mage Killer was not underpowered in DFO, it was simply harder to play. When played effectively like good ole Luck there, it was probably stronger than mage if not balanced. 1 or 2 staff hits for 80 damage from a destro resulted in a very high pressure situation for the mage, but you had to use your brain (or the enemy had to suck) to be able to get those hits. The major flaw in the destro VS mage design was the cost of viability being much lower for mage (thanks bonesets and blackbolts), which could have been EASILY fixed with an increase in cost to bone and studded sets.

    Current RoA destros take WAY less damage then they output resulting in a massive struggle for a mage vs destro fight. You have to land 2-3 spells for every arrow a destro lands (and no, im not talking about 7 splash damage from r90s) resulting in an easy press-w for free back hits or kill em in melee situation.

    I ray this kid for fucking 10 fire damage to the back and his bag isn't even a top-end destro bag. Like get real.
