Been 2.5 yrs and I have a free day, so I'm taking a look at what's changed. I'm truly happy to see RoA is still up and saddened DND is down/gone? Going through the spec changes now ... what do new and old players alike think about the games current state of play?
Right now would be a good time to start up, specially after a huge server war. Way faster to stat up, leveling spells is fast. Gathering is super fast (although annoying since you have to bank right away and constantly).
Preparing, now. I've some time in between projects and am able to put in a few hours [many ]. Throw me some bones over the ensuing days as I skill up, please. I'm messaging an old DF network to bring in a few more vets that loved the game and are far more proficient than I. Good times.
Bah, come on ... pu$$ies were screaming that in '09 after beta. Grab some intellect, strategy, skill, etc. and go out to join in. I'm asking for tidbits on significant changes to gameplay (some I like after reading), including any physics alterations (which I doubt) ... dang! --- Post updated --- Damn. I understand tech and graphics change but shit. I can't get beyond character creation. Stuck at w/e race I restart the game into and can go no further .. unable to choose sex. Bummer, no matter how many times I restart. The screen capture is too large and I'm not wasting time on a 10 y/o game and its reboot to resize in order to show. Enjoy the good times of, in my estimation, no player pop.
