So lately we’ve seen a lot of new people floating around in Agon and on the forums. These people often have a lot of questions. This is largely due to Darkfall’s poor documentation and tutorial system. Lately, the community has stepped up in a big way to fill this void with video guides targeted at explaining the basic mechanics of the game. These videos are scattered across many different youtube channels and can be difficult to chase down. I wanted to create a master list of videos that we can link to people that are divided up into loose categories. A centralized location so people don’t have to suffer through all the searching and digging. There are also some really helpful videos from DFO that could be of use to new players that may otherwise be lost to time. I’ll start with as many videos as I can find. I'll sort them into some basic categories of knowledge and by content creator. This way, if someone has a favorite tutorial person to watch, it'll be easy to see all their videos. I’ve reached out to a number of content creators to make sure they were cool with it. If you’re video is here and you’re not cool with it, let me know and I’ll remove it. If you guys know of any videos that I have missed, please list them and I’ll add them to a category. When I was new at Darkfall, I would have loved having something like this. Hopefully, this will be a useful repository of knowledge that people can benefit from. Warning: Some of these videos may be from years ago on a previous iteration of Darkfall. Regardless, they all have really useful knowledge contained within. I will put little tags next to the areas so that people know if it’s RoA or DFO. If you are a new player and have found your way to this thread, go through the videos at your leisure and absorb the knowledge. There are many different perspectives here with a wide range of advice.
