I'm glad somebody else said something that's not the first time I've seen a confusion, eye rot land on the screen during a pvp vid and not do anything. What did they change?
Let's start with, nothing has been changed with confusion.
But in this case if you slow it down, you can see the confusion was cast behind a little hill. The point of impact is not in view to Tooth when it lands, this is the point where the blind is applied. He then jumps and can see the effect so it looks like it should have blinded but in reality this looks like correct application.
It appears you haven't played too recently, but confusion is really bugged.
You can stare at it and not get blind, and also turn away and get blinded.
PM'd example on Discord.

you are the best banger ever
Thank you for your feedback !
P.S. I like your content also !
Neilk, I am telling you something is wrong with confusion and eye rot at times. Mainly confusion. You may not have adjusted it on purpose but sometimes it doesn't blind when you look at it point blank. There are many examples out there. This NEVER happened in Df1. I know we trolling with the revert shit but when you have 1 eye rot and one confusion and when it doesn't work, its game breaking!
I'm not saying this didnt happen in dfo, but I am saying I dont remember this ever happening in dfo, and cant find any video examples of it happening in dfo.
Confusion doesn’t work but you would have to play the game to know that so not surprising that they don’t think anything is wrong with it.
If you look directly at eye rot when it hits the ground, it won't apply the blind.
Confusion applies the blind based on the character's position, not the player's FoV. It's wierd.
