Runebook Travel Limitations

    I think travel should be like UO. No more crying zerg, and noobs would be able to get away. Large scale and group pvp would still be able to get kills, but it wouldn't be such a certain death if 2-3 people ran up on you...

    Map alerts. Need to develop a system for map alerts, like a big ole ping broadcast to everyone in a 1000m range that shows someone teleporting in.

    Recovery time after the teleport is done... Whence you drop, you're down to 1/3rd all stats with significantly reduced recovery for 1 minute, so it might take you 2+ minutes to recover your stats. Also, 30 seconds of speed reduction and mount restriction.

    if you make it so recalling to a rune is a significant risk, you have to worry much less about creating hard restrictions.
