Server Crash Idea

    Make our mounts and ships go back into our inventory. Pretty wild how every boat in the sea gets deleted during a crash lol.

    They aren't deleted. They just are sitting in the world waiting for someone to go grab them.

    I've recovered my mounts and ships on every crash for the last few weeks. However I'm sure rollbacks may be different.

    There has to be a way to do it, UW had it. I think it worked if your it was just your client that crashed too. :)

    All they would have to do is keep the owning player reference on it persisted. Then when server comes up and starts spawning items it sees mounts and boats and instead of putting them in game they put them in the players inventory or bank on the database so when they log in they have their boat.
