Despite the new servers the server performance is at an utterly unacceptable state, I doubt any new player will stick with the game if this continues. Consider reverting whatever change you made that caused this, no matter what it was its not worth this lag.
I had been dodging most of the delay up until the last week or so. My ping is shit for being US, it varies between 90 and 130, and it's rarely stable, usually drifting. I've heard that AZ players are routed through California. Even English players are getting better ping. Last night though was definitely the worst server performance I've experienced since launch day. I hadn't DC'd more than once since launch, but last night I hard DC'd twice, the second about 10 minutes after the first. The kind of DC where you stay in-game for 5 minutes and can't log back in. Died twice. Not great.
its a bit rarer now but theres still fairly frequent episodes of lag as horrendous as it ever was. I can promise you its not the amount of players or inadequate servers causing this, BPG fucked something up because they don't have a clue about what they are doing.
Ya its much better comparatively but the when the lag does happen (for like 20-30 seconds) its completely unplayable.
To be fair, are you working on the Dev team? I'm salty about the server too but cmon, to say they have no idea is a bit ignorant.
When they implemented several fixes which do nothing its pretty safe to say they dont know what the problem is, nor how to find out what it is, or alternatively they know but dont know how to fix it.
sooooo..... apparently im not the most ignorant person here, who knew? Anyways i have been having debilitating lag while farming. Ping is at 90 yet i go from having full health to all of a sudden almost dead all of a sudden. Hits arent registering on the mob then bam all of the mobs damage to me all at once and none of my damage on it. Been really hard to deal with.
