Went to the alfarlands selentine golem spawn. The respawn rate seems to be 1-2 minutes starting with the very first kill, with an extra golem spawning after every kill. Without going into whether selentine golems should be scaling or not, 2 minutes is a very large decrease from the current 7-10 minutes.
Yeah I don't see why mess with the spawn rate of seles, it was pretty reasonable already imo. Not sure about scaling either, might hop in test server later to check things out.
yeah let's have more boring pve by listening to these 2 water heads that have no clue how to bring any players back to the game.
Things need to have some kind of value or else you might as well not even have full pvp looting in the game. And I was only being skeptical not downright talking this down anyway.
i would understand if you were making a statement toward end game golem such as leenspar but this is selentine. you want people to run around in r40 forever? i just dont get it, it's full loot and shit breaks, so it will eventually leave the world. if bpg was smart they would limit player crafting to r50 and the r60+ would be strictly mob dropped with full dura.
Selentine is already super easy to acquire after the golem changes, plus all full plate pieces last 3x as long after the last patch. --- Post updated --- I want spawn scaling to make group pve possible, that`s what I think the game needs, not making things even easier.
Well if the sele golems are respawning fast enough it will encourage group farming, as there will be more people around the area and it will be worth it for a group to lock it down if they are killing more.
Honestly with every spawn in the game scaling... it does away with any form of a hotspot you could ever make. The sele golem on cairn could be poppen, on yssam, on alfar lands, in wolf lands... who knows? Heat map maybe would help you locate the action... but you get the point. Any spawn will be great as long as you bring enough people to it. Now if you make certain spawns scale... then sure. Otherwise it is a very bad idea. The closest thing to a hotspot this game has ever had that was not an exploit was skull island in beta. They nerfed it and removed the hotspot. That was the correct idea to go with though, originally.
