Without runebooks, I would've chimed in here about how holdings and their value is tied DEEPLY to the ability to port between them, aka why holdings are worthless now...But that's not a big deal anymore. I still think you should be able to have multiple 'fronts', but if you control a single holding on a subcontinent, without any connected holdings, it would be a weak foothold and therefore really, really hard to defend. But tying how hard it is to defend with how many connected holdings you have is also a problem, because it might be impossibly hard to 'crack' a subcontinent that's completely owned by a single 'faction'... So should I start conquering an entire subcontinent now...? ;p
i think a hard barrier is very necessary in this game .. it would serve as a definitive passive upkeep system with the way you guys are designing your TCS ... if a clan wants to control the world .. it should be possible but with each empire expansion exponentially more difficult.
sweet... prolly when this comes in all holdings need to reset aswell.. otherwise it dont make any sense anymore.
I would like to see the sea towers tied into sub continents they are near for some form of territory control incentive, that goes live each week as they do now. That way if you want to start pushing into a sub continent, taking the sea tower would make it easier and if you did not want people to push into the continent controlling it would make it easier to defend in some way.
hard barrier sorf barrier? i dont understand why everyone need to build complicated system.. keep it simple.. and build upon that You have a map! Divided into tiles you have capturing points / holdings + towers place in titles Tiles are connecting each other by capturing this small "maps" with towers.. you have a main base with you need to expand one by capturing these tiles to other holdings. When a title is connected from your main holding to an enemy city.. a window popups and your able to seige a connected holding Basic fundalmentals of a terri conrol system And not only that you provoke players on daily basis either small or large scale to expend their tiles i thought you guys learned from complicated system that destlocke pushed in.. with the overcomplicated colors and alligment system again keep shit simple..
THE 3 MOONS OF AGON WILL NEVER SET ON THE REIGN EMPIRE I hope we can get more clan-themed content along with this patch, such as a clan-wide recolor for chest pieces(bone, fp, infernal, dragon) as a stand-in for tabards. Also, since we've done nothing with prefix titles, and I just got rid of my villain title because being blue is really dank: Can our prefix be our clan rank? Also more ranks? They don't all need more permissions... ALSO: Supreme General is just about the least aesthetic leader rank in any game, ever. I'd much prefer medieval rankings such as King Duke Baron Kight Squire Serf This whole territory / faction thing does have a medieval kingdom vibe to it...
I think that'll make clan ranks useless as an identifier. I think their complaint was just that Supremegeneral is just an ugly looking title visually. Being a General is just a more pleasing sounding title. So maybe just rename the Supremegeneral to something better.
As a clan leader I'd like to be able to create tasks or quests with rewards and points awarded to member that complete the quest. Partial credit awarded for large tasks like "1,000,000" stone for building mods. The points could be used (by settings) to count towards promotions. p.s. Not a clan leader just have to write requirements from time to time...
Would advise to not use redstone as the name of your powering doohickies. Microsoft/Minecraft might come after you for that. Just call it energy stone and save yourself any potential hassle.
YO PLEASE LET US DESIGN EMBLEMS / COLOR SCHEMES FOR OUR CLANS! Then if a clan joins an alliance they can, like, assimilate their color scheme to the alliances or smth.. Definitely not priority, but still cool af
This is actually really important. This and clan structuring should go in before the TCS system. Make it fully fleshed out and appealing, and more people will enjoy it and stick around when it's done. It will probably set you guys back a week or 2, but it will be worth it in the long run. Things like colour overlay/indicators on the in game map for territory are also important.
