Literally deleted 2 seconds after I posted. And now that this issue has been dealt with which of these bugs still has its presence in the current game? Don't get how that's confusing. Think I just sold some q5 eye for 3.3k each lol.
BPG's boys exploited and gets temp banned. God forbid they perma ban these guys that'd be half the server population lmao
Why do I have to be the one to explain to you if was going on longer then the roll back? This is coming from a guy who just got banned. Now stfu. Here's a good one for ya, how many dupes you've think theres been???
Your entire clan used way over 200 champ potions. They go for 150k+ each. Just extreme low-balling, and that alone is well over 30 million gold worth of shit you guys managed to create out of thin air. That's fucked, but heres the part that pisses me off and does not make sense: some of your clannies used it on 2-3 of their characters (but not their main) and they got the same punishment as those players who only used the exploit once. Getting set back to 100 stats is for sure a good punishment for those who abused it on their mains, but those players that got greedy and tried to max 2, 3 or 4 characters (and didn't use it on their mains) need harsher punishments. Who gives a fuck if a character that had 100 stats gets set back to 100 stats and gets a 3 day ban? You still get to play your main. That makes absolutely no sense.
How would we know, it's just the only thing people got caught doing. Fact remains, people cheat and get a slap on the wrist.
Tons, I know at the start Fuglesse was duping through the crafting window keeping the original mats. He was selling tons of cheap as shit ships and he was the one supplying the entirety of agon with 700-800g rare ingots.
Here's something to consider, regarding the effectiveness of BPG's banning of these exploiters: They're not complaining about it. They aren't sorry about what they did. The punishment wasn't effective. The reaction to their game devastating exploit is negligible. They need to have their entire banks of every character deleted and stats reset to 10. Punish people who actively exploit and break the game as ferociously as you do people who commit wrong think in Agon chat.
Should be a one week ip ban, period. Cheat again, perma banned. It's time to treat them like grown folks.
Try hards have been exploiting, duping, and cheating at a pretty high percentage since DF1 and they keep doing it because the reward has always been worth the risk and the punishments weren't harsh enough. And anyone who thinks BPG caught everyone abusing this or actually got rid of all the duped shit since launch (there's been more than 1 method) is naive AF or someone who made gains off it and is gaslighting. It's one of the MANY reasons I'd like to see a full wipe and relaunch once RoA's economic flaws are fixed and the game is in a more complete state (if that ever happens) Nothing BPG does short of that is going to take all the shit out that's already been dumped into the economy through dupes, exploits, and even just 2 years of broken faucets/ lack of sinks.
I think it was a lot easier for people to do all that on DF1 since AV was pretty fuckin retarded and couldn't tie their own shoes. Seems BPG is at least trying somewhat with what they have, they just need to lay down the fuckin law and simply ip ban them. Ban all accounts purchased with that CC or paypal, etc. Its time they let people know you do stupid shit, you get dealt with harshly.
True, pretty sure that no company has the funding that Blizzard has to combat cheaters though lol. BPG has to at some point lay down the law though. Also have to consider if the time fits the crime. If it were up to me aimbot/wallhack/dupe straight up perma banned fuck you you're done. PvE exploit, terrain exploit type stuff, 3 days suspension for first offense, then 7, then month then you're fuckin done forever.
