Sounds like you should move the main live server to Texas where it’s and and so everyone has decent ping. Everyone knows their are no EUs playing.
Was an idea thrown out, personally didn't like the idea, but I still Tested it, most of us didnt like it, hence why its a test server so we can test things out. And for all of you who are complaining about lag or performance issue dunno what to tell you, it's been running smooth. --- Post updated --- Mage vs Heavy player (archery/meele) feels good, but then again that's my opinion since I have gotten a chance to log into PTS and test things out.
try global cd for aoe whitout needles... global cd for r 90 whitout magma... global cd for needles and magma ... Rays work fine ...put all in the same global cd ( for who want use only one magic scholl in the next future ) you have in program to add new arrows type....new melee skills ( like throwing axe ) and some new spells ?
Weird thread, PTS is being constantly updated (hourly) at night when we have testers on. Some people were asking to test some changes to rays so that happened, it didn't work out and now it's back like it was before. Contribute to the combat focus group or don't but no need for the salty threads. Also people like Chad and Kilset are saying performance is better than the live server.
I dont even know why you guys would waste anytime at all on something like that, imagine all we dont know behind the scene you have been wasting time on Like changes like this would never had te be thought of?
When playing on PTS last night we tested the rays out and I think we all agreed that the ray change should be reverted. This is why we log into the PTS. It did take about 30 minutes to get set with gear/skills
Arguably combat changes brought me the new content of required farming new meta items like sarras, and full heavy bags I never wore prior, as well as great club crafting. The more they change, the more incentive I have to farm up the newly appropriate gear fluctuation to remain functional or even remotely competitive. Great job bpg. Forgot to mention all the new enchants I had to gather mats for, including piercing protection, slashing protection, health bonus, infliction, fire, etc. And bloodcrafted gear now required to obtain near the 450 hp i had before
Thanks to everyone who has been testing these past few days and the great feedback we are receiving, combat will be better because of it. Not only that, but once we get this accomplished in the next day or so we can focus on the Relic System which is going to be awesome. Details of this system will be presented in today's update. That new content system will provide things to farm for and seek for a very long time to come while accomplishing our main goal of creating diversity between players.
Get on the test server. This one was reverted but honestly it didn’t feel bad and it was neat seeing people using other spells. Also made fights last longer (which feels better imo)
Hey let's throw shit at a wall and see if it sticks is not a good approach. What brought on all this combat change stuff? Care to explain BPG? There are definitely problems with the game, but combat?? It needed small tweaks, not fundamental changes.
I don't even understand how you're financially stable enough to be making changes to the one thing that keeps people around, you could have made changes to the combat like fix wof, back damage reduction, removed buffs and made 110-120 stats more easily obtainable by adding the pots to drop on "hot spot mobs", then simply left it at that and diverted all your resources to territory control. And other stuff like every rotation of villages there is 1 hot one making people want to group and gear up to the max to get the best out of it and also creates more clan vs clan shit, added a land tower that would come up on a rotation of set times to benefit all play times. There were easy things you guys could've done to just bring your player base back up and you're choosing something that actually is killing it more, it's like you guys want your game to die, and at this point I don't think you guys have the money to keep going for more than another couple months anyway if it's taking this long for you to get things done that are clearly laid out in front of you. Actually sad af considering I personally think this game is a gold mine even with the name being tarnished in previous releases. You all at BPG know personally how many players tried this game on launch day even WITH the server issues happening. Imagine if you kept even a 3rd of those players.
