I would never deny it, that is exactly why I me and another guy ninja repaired them. Seemed to me a lot of people forgot what towers are like when your not geared for them. I also did not expect anyone but vets to have arcane jewels so on that hunch we repaired. Again that was a f'ing blast and while some seem to harbor animosity there is none from SS! Thanks for the awesome fights and Welcome to Darkfall!
Where are you ironwrath kids living so I can come snag free loot even a 1v3 isn't scary when it's you noobs lol
You guys should hit up Battle Saints and some other clans in the area for revenge These Ironwrath kids have made a lot of enemies Will be some fun this weekend for sure
We live in Skaranibben primarily. Pvp is welcome, like I said in that other thread. Threats are nice but we're still waiting to see some action. Daft
OP was a pretty accurate account, with a few minor points which others have already corrected. It was one of the most fun sieges I've ever been too. Very close with both sides losing and winning some of the fights, just never decisively enough to decide. And those close quarters battles taking, losing, and retaking boats was simply amazing. I hope someone got video of it they'll share! Outlaws is a PvP oriented clan with some experienced DF vets and a lot of newbies of various skill levels we're training up. We dropped the siege because wanted to get those newbies exposed to sieges, and obviously because we wanted the mine as a strategic resource. When SS allied up with Absolution, literally as we were en route to go drop the siege stone, we were worried about getting massively zerged out before the siege could really begin. So we made it a point to bring numbers, which included not objecting when Rawr wanted to hire mercs on his own dime. SS seems like they aren't bitter about it, and I have zero intents of denying it or apologize for it. I think overall it was fun siege for all involved parties, and hope it got a whole generation of newbies in my alliance and yours hooked on the rush that is Darkfall PvP.
We pushed into an entrenched defensive position with guard towers. Lost half our force. If you had pushed at the moment siege might of been over. The difference was your force got smoked in water archery.
Had a lot of fun, thank you for the hire. The towers did a ton of work, none of us (Washed Up) had arcane jewelry and it prevented us from getting a handful of ganks in the hamlet. They also forced us to retreat a couple times. It was a long siege, full of action. It seemed to be fairly even from my perspective. Hope everyone enjoyed it.
I don't remember you, but I like that you are still carrying a grudge. That kind of pent-up (for five years) emotion is what makes this game great. I was out of town for work, little disappointed that I didn't get to play for the siege. But for saying you remember us from DF1 you don't remember much. We lost our city (Sweetwater) within the first 30 days of the EU server to Hyperion. We went on to play for years and obviously did well enough to hurt a few feelings. I'd lost contact with most of our players and when Neph and I took Unelak, Shadow Syndicate was literally the two of us, we knew we wouldn't keep it. But, putting our name on the DF-info map helped me find some of my old buddies, so it was worth.
You're an idiot if you don't think 2 towers have an impact on a fight. Even with a full set of rings they do work.
Battle who? Oh yeah, we have a collection of skulls from them. How's living in Yimir's tears going? Still crying every day?
Battle Saints You know, those guys fighting the good fight against the noob ganking zerg clan known as ironwrath?
I just want to know how many mounts I killed with that boat cannon! 50? 100? Cheers to the defenders for putting up a good fight.
Their skulls are taking up too much space in my bank now. Ironwrath sells me battlesaint skulls in bulk for 1 gold each. I have a bag set up for you when you get around to actually doing anything besides crying on the forum.
Not gonna lie, you drop a siege for a fight, you hire mercs when you want to send a message. Alot of times the outside world reads that message as "we cant defend if we even in it."
Exactly When you do it against a small clan and their only holding? It also sends a message "please seek vengeance upon us, for we are weak and sniveling and have narrow urethras"
