To kick this thread off, we’d like to thank all of you for your valuable feedback and passion for Rise of Agon. In our recent patch on January 16th, we mentioned that we would “continue to enhance pve, especially for groups”, so let’s elaborate on that! We have observed (and we’re sure you have too) that the majority of players interested in farming monsters tended to do it alone or as a duo, with some bosses being an exception. There are several reasons for this: monsters were not regenerating health (fixed last patch), not enough loot to accommodate larger groups and lack of challenge. Our plan is to make boss fights more dangerous and challenging, while also rewarding players with better loot if they manage to vanquish their foes. Champions will have minions respawning during the final stage, so you’ll need to deal with them while finding a way to slay the boss. Champions will also have new weekly tasks, sweetening the pot for teams able to contest the spawns...which will all be in the red zone. Next up is the really badass monsters like the theyril golem and dark dragon. Spawns of this difficulty will be guarded by minions, making these fights more suitable for groups. Not only will this create more engaging battles, but it will also provide players with monsters to slay while waiting for the boss to respawn. This tier of bosses will have their loot tables updated with a chance for high quality, pvp viable enchanted gems, potentially with other tweaks. Not only that, but each of these bosses will have a daily task, and one of their minions will as well. If you can control the spawn long enough to kill the boss five times, your team will complete two dailies. We hope that these changes, and the ones above, will provide a more fun and rewarding farming experience, accompanied by a healthy mix of pvp. An additional leenspar golem and forest golem will arrive on Agon, and the ice dragon will have his loot increased again, as we agree with your feedback that the loot has not quite hit the mark. The fire dragon will receive a new dye, as will the demon...and the demon lord. That’s right. Daddy is coming home. The demon lord, fire dragon, and ice dragon spawns will function on a random spawn timer, accompanied by a global server announcement. Additionally, we are considering allowing these bosses to be able to respawn, with a lengthy and random respawn timer, of course. Weekly gathering tasks will be added. Village teleport updates. The trade route experience will be improved. Last but not least, get your ships ready, because the old village capture system is making a comeback for sea villages and you must bring black powder.
