Ooooo. Diminishing returns on confusion would be AMAZING.
I mean everybody has power attack technically? I can see that point of view though since mages finish with spells. Sort of would be Destro buff :/. I just think it’s a unique way to bring them back and adding a little more skill to combat without destroying if.
I’m referring to power attack the skill not the 4th hit of a melee exchange also if I didn’t make that come across as clear.
Agreed kids will cry about anything these days to avoid taking responsibility for their failures

Confusion is fine
This is the exact argument for not changing ANYTHING combat related from DF1, because as soon as BPG cave once the "nerf x spell" posts NEVER stop. Some people will never be satisfied and will blame anything for their deaths

It appears many of you refuse to believe you died to a player because they performed better than you. Or you have the right to an even number fight when you run up on or are found by a group of enemies.
This is what I see every time someone complains about dying to a specific spell in the game and start's flaming the forum's saying it's broken.
"Damn noobtuber's always crutching on wof,confusion,firemagic,eyerot,food,fish, destroyer, braindead melee push, simple shirts,144hz,256 hz monitor , living on top of the server, no life, never sleeping, Adderall. You're not even good, IF BPG removed it you would be straight dog tier"

Really? I've been practicing it since 2011. It's quite easy
If you're a destroyer
If you're in the air. obviously start with parry If you see firemagic or a bow while you're in the air cast confusion and time throwing it on the ground .5 of a sec before you land because they release before you land.
If you're disabled before you're knocked up you should already been aware of you're increased risk and be using begone/shrap to get to terrain. But if you were blind then you also have the option to begone the player running straight at you mindlessly cause you're in the air before he releases his spell increasing the probability to make him miss.
If you failed to do all of these things, you got outplayed and you deserve to die.

Ranged disable is more of a problem than wof IMO. Ranged disable should only last like 2 seconds.
When one party organizes a strategic implementation of burst damage and the other team does not respond to help the player being focused. The ability used in the game and the structure around it should not be nerfed. It's the evolution of gameplay and more importantly team play. The other team should evolve and adapt not have evolution be nerfed.
By now most ppl know every player in every game that call's targets. If a caller of an enemy group disable's you. You should be more than aware you have a high probability of being focused. Conveying this exact logic in comms to your team when you are the one disable'd should result the same response the enemy team will react with. Both groups focusing said disable'd player. Enemies with damage, Allies with heals and utility to support. If the defensive team does not respond then the defensive team is being outplayed.
