What armor are destroyers supposed to wear to stay under 50 encumbrance for full damage bonus?

Same as mages, bone+fp because developers hate diversity and want mages to have more protections than destroyer in every situation because of selfbuffs for no cost?

The text on the description of destoyer and mage killer are missleading. You get the full damage bonus from these perks what ever your encumbernace level. The text is left over from a old patch that got reverted. You will get archery encumberance which lowers you archery damage and speed above 50 (not 60 like the paperdoll shows, test it!)

Did they give up on the game or just too lazy to even fix tooltip text?

They should remove archery from the game if they don't want player skill to matter in the game.

You know the balance is garbage when "i missed an aoe and still did 50 damage"-mages don't even try to avoid melee combat.

Unless they have changed it since I last played (cant remember when that was) but I don't think they have, destroyers were slightly stronger than mages overall and quite a bit stronger if both the mage and destro had city buffs.

A well geared destro has (or had), much better protections than a mage, although this requires enchanted rings, a full infernal, q4/q5 slashing protection ring will heavily out damage a mage in melee, even if the mage lands a slashing debuff.

Also a missed aoe heavily drops off in damage unless changed. A destro that can actually land a reasonable amount of arrow shoots out damages a mage by quite a bit, at a much lower stat cost. An effective way to play destro is to simply out last the mage.
