I doubt the game can attract the kind of attention that we hope it will. I hope for the best but the echo box might be all we got. Edit: wipe +1
It makes me laugh that people are voting for wipe in the games current state you would likely get a good month then a couple okay months then it will be dead again, it would be so pointless.
I voted wipe, but a wipe would literally do nothing but possibly end the game. The economy is out of control, the VCPs give out so much gold, higher end mobs give out way too many Q5 / Q4 mats. Every drop and VCP would have to be changed again. The rares I feel are in a good spot, so they did a great job with this. The rest of the economy would need to follow. The Launch grind would have to be reintroduced as we would run out of shit to do in a month and be right back to where we are. So many issues need to be fixed before a wipe otherwise it could end the game. Revert to Df1 economy and Df1 villages - remove billboards / put portal shards and runestones back on mobs.
No wipe. Should only be considered if it comes with a massive patch that reworkes the whole game and with reworks i mean more than some combat and economy shit. Talking about animations, graphics, gamefeel to be closer to a 2020 and not a 2000 game, etc. Would make more sense to announce shutdown of roa and advertise it as a new game instead of a wipe for the current one. A wipe in an mmo that supposdly has a persistent world is a real bad call. Why would people commit to a game like that if it might get wiped again in the future? If they just wipe for no good reason it will only hurt the game in the long run. Give the vets a month max regardless of what they do about the economy and we back to stomping out new players and nothing has changed. Wipe could be fun in the shortterm but doesnt change shit.

100% wipe. myself and others that played before would definitely come back for that. The game is so much fun at launch. IMO how darkfall is right now they should "seasons" wipe the server every 6 months. Give out skins or titles to "Top" performers such as top monster killer, top player killer, top crafter, clan with the most holdings etc.
Wipe. Bring ironman mode... No trading/looting with other players. Yes you can still kill people just gotta loot on your main. Give ironman mode a special icon so people look cool. That would bring back gathering/stupid mob spawns that nobody uses anyway. (yes I stole this from Osrs deal with it.. it's fun) Or dfo seasons like Nugs said with dope skins. (also a osrs thing)
bro i was literally going to type it but I didn't want to hurt the mind of non osrs players. And with that if people start gathering bad players like myself can start killing others again. It's a win win.
wipe yes pls.. everyone will be running on the asian server @ launch.. which will make this server even more dead. if wipe everyone will come here
I'd personally want a wipe as well. however I don't got any stake in the game. 0 bank, play like 1-2 hours a week maybe just feeling the game out again. Also I am of the opinion that they should wait and see how china does on launch. If the game economy looks fine and dandy for a few months then they 100% should wipe and advertise as a relaunch with steam and whatnot. If its going the same way as we have over here then take some notes, and make changes where its weak in china and wipe. This is going to be their best and probably only learning experience on a clean slate so they should be able to identify most issues. That is if they've learned anything about their game in the last 4+ years.
